XStandard is closed
My name is Vlad Alexander and I was co-owner and head of development for XStandard. I hope the software we produced and the technical support we offered for more than 15 years have been helpful to you in building your solutions. Our entire team very much enjoyed working with you and is grateful that you chose our software.
Before the website goes offline, please copy any documentation you may need. PDF versions of the documentation are available.
If you are an XStandard Pro customer, in March 2021, we sent you an email offering a free upgrade to the latest version of XStandard and an unlimited, perpetual license to use the software. Some of the responses we got back include:
- Thanks for XStandard. It was a life saver back in the day.
- Sorry to see you go. XStandard was by far the best external control we ever used.
- I just wanted to say thank you for creating XStandard. We started using it a long time ago, and it helped us to create some of the most accessible sites we've ever created, some with dozens of editors.
- It was a great run! I was booting up a Windows VM just to edit my blog posts for about 10-years! I switched over to a Markdown-based approach like 2 years ago. But, XStandard will always have a fond place in my heart.
- I'm sorry to hear that you are closing development and support of the XHTML editor. It's been a great product. Thank you for the advance notice and the unlimited license.
- Thank you for your work on XStandard over the years.
- This is and has been a great tool. I use it in Microsoft Access and it works great.
We thank you for your business. It was our pleasure to work with you.
Regards,
Vlad Alexander
